CDP Environmental Hygiene are proud to be sponsoring Hayes Secondary School (Bromley)  Girls U15s  Football Team Tour to Orlando, Florida.

The team will be winging their way to Orlando on 11th  February for a fun packed week,  to participate in some intense training from a top American ladies soccer (football) team – Orlando City and then play them in a match.  They will also play another game against St. Pete Raiders.

Along with some well deserved R&R at Disneyland and Universal Studios the girls will also take in a top flight NBA basketball match.

We will keep you informed of all their action and bring you some winning pictures……

The Team were lucky enough to have Kirk Stoneham from CPLFC take a special training session last week for a few last minute tips for the upcoming matches.

Update:

Monday night (12 Feb) saw the girls first game against Orlando City Soccer Club.   The girls chalked up their first win 2-1 with a winning penalty goal!

Thursday night (16 Feb) saw the girls up against an U16/17 team from St. Pete Raiders – a storming effort in the first half saw the Hayes girls up 2-0.  A valiant effort in the second half was sadly dismissed with the home team putting 4 past our goalie to eventually win 4-2.  The host team put on a well deserved pizza party after the match which was enjoyed by all with some lifelong friendships made.

The girls finally flew back to the UK on Saturday 18th tired but happy after a trip of a lifetime!!!
